The deal
Terms of service
Last updated August 2026. Using Duebell means you agree to what follows. It is short on purpose.
What Duebell does
You tell us a date — by photographing a document or typing it — and we send you email and, if you ask for it, text alerts before that date, plus a link to the office that handles the renewal. That is the whole product.
What Duebell does not promise
We are a reminder service, not your agent and not your lawyer. We do not file anything, pay anything, or renew anything on your behalf. The deadline stays yours.
Email and text delivery depend on carriers and mail providers we do not control. We build for redundancy — multiple alerts per deadline, a text failure still sends the email, failures shown to you in the app — but we cannot guarantee any single message arrives. Do not rely on Duebell as your only record for a deadline where the cost of missing it is catastrophic.
Duebell office links and state rules are gathered from official government sources and checked automatically, but agencies reorganize their sites without warning. Verify anything consequential on the agency's own page.
Your account
One person per account, and you are responsible for what happens under it. Keep your password to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else is in there.
Don't upload documents that aren't yours or that you have no right to store, and don't use Duebell to send messages to phone numbers that aren't yours.
Texts
Texts only go to a number you verified with a one-time code, and only after you agreed to receive them. Reply STOP to any Duebell text and texts stop; reply START and they resume. Message and data rates from your carrier apply. Turning off texts never turns off your email alerts.
Money
Free accounts track up to ten deadlines and get email alerts. Paid plans are billed annually or monthly in advance through Stripe. The trial runs fourteen days without a card; nothing is charged unless you enter one.
Cancel any time and the plan runs to the end of the period you already paid for. We do not prorate refunds for a period in progress, and we do not delete your data when a plan ends — reminders past a free plan's limit stop being editable, they never disappear.
Prices can change. If yours does, you hear it by email before the renewal, not after.
Ending it
You can delete your account in Settings at any time; that purges your stored documents and rows. We can close an account that is being used to abuse the SMS channel or someone else's documents, and we will say why.
The legal floor
Duebell is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it. Some places don't allow that limit; where that's true, it doesn't apply to you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States.
